Hello Everyone,
I wanted to thank everyone who came and participated in our first two shows of 2012. It was very encouraging to see several new folks, as well as, a lot of familiar faces. Results for the last two shows are now posted on the website.
The Ranch Cutting at both shows was a lot of fun and is gaining interest. Please see the Ranch Cutting Flyer for more information about an upcoming competition.
We will be having a Reining and Pleasure competition on Saturday September 29, 2012 in Jonesboro at the ASU Equine Center. There will be a free clinic/demonstration starting at 5:00 pm and the competition will start at 7:00 pm. Please look for an entry form and flyer to be posted on the website as it draws closer to the date.
Our final clinic/competition will be in Jonesboro at the ASU Equine Center. The clinic featuring Aaron Ralston of RFD-TV’s “The Ride” will be October 12th-13th. He will cover the horsemanship as it applies to reining, reined cowhorse, and ranch cutting competition. The competition will be on Sunday the 14th. Please check the website for updates for this event as well.
We are planning to give year-end awards for 2012 at our first meeting of 2013. We will let everyone know when we have the details worked out for this as well. If anyone is interested in sponsoring awards, please contact Mark Russell.

We are offering a new class this year, Ranch Cutting! It will be a stand alone class held on Sunday morning, May 20 at 9:00 a.m..

The Annual General Membership Meeting will be held on February 18, 2012 at the Faulkner County Natural Resource Center in Conway, Arkansas. The address and phone are:

The meeting is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the conference room. Annual memberships may also be renewed at this time.

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to thank everyone who came and participated in our 2011 clinics and competitions. It was by far our best year yet! We were able to double our membership, increase our youth participation, and had three very successful events. To the officers and Board of Directors members and each of you who have helped make this a great year, I say a big THANK YOU!! It has been a blast!
One comment I heard several times throughout the year was how much improvement people were seeing in their horses, themselves, and each other. Together we are meeting our goal of “helping people ride a better horse”. We are also having a lot of fun!
If any of you wish to host a clinic or clinic/competition in your area in 2012 please bring ideas with you to our next meeting.
We are planning a general membership meeting for February. We will be emailing everyone as soon as we confirm a date. Please let us know of items that should be on the agenda. Also be sure to check this website often for updates. We will have the results from Jonesboro and more pictures as well, posted soon.
