ARSHA shares the same mission statement as ASHA, “Helping People Ride A Better Horse”.  The Arkansas Ranch and Stock Horse Association was started in 2010 for those horsemen who wish to improve their horsemanship and learn how to improve their relationship with their horse. The purpose of this organization is to provide regular opportunities for horsemen and horsewomen to increase their horsemanship skills through the four disciplines contained in our clinics and competitions: pleasure riding/rail work, trail riding/obstacles, reining, and working cowhorse skills. Clinicians are brought in to teach throughout the first day of an event, while the second day encompasses a competition. Competitors are actually competing against themselves to better their skill levels according to a standardized score sheet, available on the ASHA website:

You can find ARSHA on Facebook (Arkansas Ranch and Stock Horse Association).

We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
